Kevin has a record of community service spanning more than 15 years. He has worked tirelessly with youths who have been involved in crime to steer them toward good decisions and positive lives. He also:
- Has coached youth sports (baseball and football) teams for more than 10 years
- Served on Holy Family Catholic Church Advisory Council, including serving as Chairman for 4 years, and on Building Committee
- Is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2875, and has been serving as Advocate for the past 9 years
- Was a member of the Maringouin Lions Club for 16 years, until it disbanded
- Is an avid outdoorsman – loves fishing, hunting & family camping trips
